Principles of Marketing (Undergrad course) – Summer 2024
Excerpts from select teaching evaluations:
I think the course instructor is extremely effective in tying in real world examples to better convey the marketing methods explained through textbook or slides. The presentations are palatable, and serve as an effective visual vessel for the information conveyed.
The course was succinct and laid out in a way that was easy to follow. Jiaming Wei is very knowledgeable on the course material and other applicable economic and business topics.
Jasmine did a great job engaging the class every day. It can be hard with the class being taken over zoom, but Jasmine still maintained the ability to collaborate with the class and have class discussions. Great job!
I thought she did a great job at fostering an inclusive environment, she wanted to hear from everyone and allowed everyone to have their thoughts about subjects.
Professor Wei made a lot of effort to take in different perspectives on the content and was very flexible. A lot of the class offered global perspectives about marketing that I previously had not considered. Overall, her inclusivity made the class a really enjoyable experience.
I think the lectures were really engaging and Professor Wei always gave in depth explanations. For instance, Professor Wei would ask questions that related to real world scenarios which helped me understand the content a lot. Additionally, she was always easy to reach and communicate with through email which was useful for anything I wanted to ask.
