The dialogue system will be similar to visual novel games. You have a background image that takes up the entire camera view. You have a dialogue box that consists of the message itself and the name of the person who is talking. You also have full-body standing drawings of characters. These characters will have different facial expressions depending on what they are saying or what other people are saying to them. Since this game has a maximum of four playable characters on the team, we can use the same layout as the reference. There will be effects here and there to show animations or movements.
This dialogue system is being used when you talk to NPCs. It uses the dialogue box and name tag just like the one above, except this system doesn't have a background image and character drawings.
