Future Grads
Future Grads supports students to and through college graduation. Our students receive counseling for applications, financial aid forms, and college selection. They also develop social emotional skills, including how to ask for help, access resources, and build support networks.
Participation in the Future Grads program begins in the summer before 10th grade and continues through college graduation.
Nearly all of our Future Grads students are low-income, first generation college students. Of our students, 82% are Latino, 9% are Black, and 2% are Pacific Islander. Future Grads is currently serving 300 students per year and aims to increase impact over the next four years.
In Future Grads, we aim to achieve the following results:
By 2024, serve 800 students per year
100% of ur high school students will graduate from high school
98% of our 12th graders will enroll in and attend college
90% of our college students will graduate from a four-year college

My name is Vincent Do and I am the Early Academic Outreach Program Coordinator from UCSF! I'm born and raised in San Francisco. For college, I went to Denison University located in Ohio, where I graduated with a degree in Sociology/Anthropology. At Jefferson I am located in the College and Career room, where I would be supporting students either with the college process or advising them on steps in preparing for it. Being a child of two immigrants, I understand the many obstacles that first-generation college students face. Knowing that every student is different, I love having conversations with students so I can not only get to know them better but also tailor my support to what works best for them. Outside of work I love to try new food, cook, and walk my dogs. Looking forward to our future conversations! :)

I'm happy to be able to provide culturally relevant, accessible & comprehensive information about college and financial aid to the Jefferson community. Alongside working for JCYC at Jefferson, I am currently a graduate student at University of San Francisco earning my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. During my free time I like to try new restaurants and watch sitcoms. I grew up in the Bay Area and am grateful that I get to work with such amazing students and their families. Be sure to say hi if you see me around, otherwise come find me in the Counseling Department!
