I stepped away from school in 2018 and worked for URBN Inc. until returning to school in 2025. I want to highlight my professional work, as it relates to my career goals after graduation because this time away helped to clarify my desire to graduate and pursue new opportunities. I have loved working in retail management and hospitality, as well as training associates, and I'd love to apply these skills to work the broader field of tourism.
I relocated from NYC to Santa Rosa Beach, FL to manage opening operations including hiring, training, shipment, and display for a new store location along scenic highway 30A. This store opened in April 2023.
I relocated from Indianapolis, IN to Brooklyn, NY to be the assistant manager of the women's accessories and beauty departments, and on-site manager for store events at the Herald Square flagship location from April 2022 to February 2023. Below are the events I worked on while at Herald Square!

I started at UO in 2018 and my training focused on merchandising in the women's departmant to meet weekly sales goals in underperforming classes based on key performance indicators. When the store re-opened after the Covid-19 closure, my role transitioned into operations and I conducted recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training for over 90 employees with a focus on employee retention. I also joined the store expansion team to help open new store locations.
