At their annual International Festival, Jessica Ton, who is depicted in blue, volunteered for her school's Rotary Interact club. For past 3 years, the club was able to raise over $41,000 to aid low-income schools within the Houston Independent School District.
In March of 2022, Jessica Ton was one of 200+ club members to be selected to attend to attend a 3-day overnight camp. At the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy, she garnered leadership skills and learned valuable lessons about teamwork and communication. Some photos are shown below.
In collaboration with the Houston Independent School District's police officers, Jessica Ton and her school's Rotary Interact Club hosted an event called "Operation Shoe Box." They were able to donate 208 shoeboxes, each of which contained essential hygiene and toiletry supplies, to low-income families within HISD.
