This assignment involved the revision of an article with a focus on editing, chunking, and layering to increase readability. The original article had few pictures and was very text-heavy. The revisions were done by analyzing and utilizing other examples of articles with good readability to edit the chosen article by adding images, pull-out quotes, and section breaks.

This was one of the first projects I completed in the Technical Communication program, and it's one of my favorites. It was my first real look at the ways that genres of communication shape the content we create and consume.

This is the final revision of a company's On-Boarding Packet for new employees. It includes changes to the formatting of the document that improve the readability and cohesiveness of the content. To achieve a cleaner, more visually appealing document, some copyediting of the document was required. I printed out the original document and used copy-marking throughout, then applied my edits and created a final PDF version of the document.
