This poster was presented at the 8th edition of the Molecular life of diatoms congress (Ghent, Belgium). The results presented are related to the SEARCHLIGHT project and were published in Scientific reports (access the paper). Results showed that disrupting ΔpH reduced photophobic migration of benthic pennate diatoms, highlighting its key role in linking light sensing to protective movement behavior.
