Jeremiah 29:11-14
Seek God and You Will Find Him
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.
Just living our lives day to day, making choices and decisions without involving God, and without praying to Him and talking to Him does not get us closer to Him...Our Father wants us to seek Him and to call on Him and pray to Him...This is a deliberate attempt on our part to find Him...This is a part of our faith, this deliberate action of seeking Him...Our Father told the Prophet Jeremiah and us that if we seek Him we will find Him, if we seek Him with all our heart...This is a deliberate act to seek and find Him...Let us seek Him each day and let us find Him as we search for Him in our hearts, as we try to grow our faith...
