This is the BEECHEN Lab (short for Beetle-Lichen Lab; pronounced as Beacon).  We study ecology and evolution with a focus on speciation and conservation genomics. Our interests also involve the genomic basis of convergent/divergent phenotypic evolution and the interface between phylogeographic and biogeographic studies.

If you are interested in joining the lab, feel free to contact JP. We will discuss potential projects and funding opportunities. There are paid programs for you to come to Academia Sinica to work on your independent or our collaborative projects.
