Literacy is more than just being able to read words on a page — it’s the ability to read, write, speak, and listen in a world that’s constantly changing. As a first-grade teacher, my goal is to equip my students with the literacy tools they need to flourish not only in school, but in life.

I want every child who walks out of my classroom in May to know that I gave my whole heart — every one of the 175 days (and beyond, because teachers are always working!) — to help them grow. My students are worth every bit of effort, energy, and love I pour into teaching, because literacy is the foundation that helps them reach their dreams.

My resources are designed for students in kindergarten through second grade. Please take into consideration the age, skill being taught, and level of understanding of your students when selecting materials. All of my resources are aligned with the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE) to support quality, standards-based learning in your classroom.
