Hello! My name is Jen Harkenrider. I am currently a student at Trinity Christian College, in the adult studies program, with a double major in Special Education and Elementary Education. I have had a passion to work with children and teach since I was a young child myself in elementary school.

I graduated from Moraine Valley, with a degree in Early Childhood Education years ago and I am currently a preschool director/teacher. I enjoy being a part of children learning and growing each day!

The education department has four learning outcomes, which are the basis of the department’s assessment plan for all programs.
Trinity education program students will:
Demonstrate content knowledge in their area of specialization.
Create and implement effective learning experiences based on assessment.
