'Female Impersonation' (2024) Modroc, acrylic paint and rhinestones is a wearable sculpture cast from the artist's face. The title reflects Caine's experience as a Femme, a queer identity closely aligned to the experience of drag, and the performance of gender as a construct. 'Female Impersonation' has been shown in The Dyke Archive, curated by Machina Kollectiv, at Outhouse Gallery, London and at Resurge, curated by Brutal Collective, at Brixton Jamm, London (image of the artist was used as the promotional imaging and branding for the event).
