Caine is currently working on a series of oil on canvas self portraits entitled 'Impersonation is the sincerest form of flattery' inspired by the work of influential female artists such as Frida Kahlo and Marina Abramovic. This forms part of her current research project 'Female Impersonation'. This series is a return to more traditional painting than the intentionally dramatised and 'plastic-y' paintings of her recent degree show.
