1. What kinds of lessons are available? Jendza Music Studio offers lessons in voice and piano to students of all ages. Please check out the "lessons" link for more specific information.
2. Where are lessons located? Jendza Music Studio is located in Bridgewater, New Jersey. For specific directions, please contact the studio at JendzaMusic@gmail.com.
3. How long are lessons? Weekly lessons are offered for 30-, 45-, or 60- minute slots.
4. What are the tuition rates? Tuition varies depending on the length and type of lesson. Click on the "tuition" link under "lessons" for specific information.
5. Where can I rent/buy a violin/viola? There are many retailers in the area that can provide an instrument for purchase, rental, or rent-to-own. A list of these retailers is available from the Studio.
6. What books will I need? Depending on your age, instrument, ability, and desire, you may need a variety of books. After our initial lesson, we will select the best series of books for you to use in your lessons. A list of commonly used materials can be found on the "documents" page. Be aware, however, that not all books are listed on this document. There are hundreds of books out there for us to choose from.
7. Do you offer group lessons? Jendza Music Studio focuses on one-on-one learning. Group lessons are not offered at this time.
8. What if I have to miss a lesson? There will be times when a lesson has to be rescheduled due to illness. Please look at the handbook for more detailed information regarding attendance at lessons. The handbook is a reference guide for Studio use and is not necessarily set in stone. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the studio.
9. What if school is canceled? Jendza Music Studio provides lessons on its own schedule. Since there are students from numerous school districts, no official breaks are taken in conjunction with school breaks (with the exception of some government holidays). If there is inclement weather, please check the studio announcement page for information pertaining to the Studio's hours.
10. What kinds of performance possibilities are available? Jendza Music Studio supports and encourages all school musical activities, including solo & ensemble contests. In addition to school performances and contests, the studio holds a recital 2-4 times a year. Participation in Studio recitals are not mandatory but are highly encouraged. There are also community events some students may be able to participate in. These opportunities will be posted in the Studio and on the announcement page of the website as they come up.
