Dogglows, close relatives to Jellisloogs and Jellibugs, exhibit a carefree and somewhat sluggish demeanor. Despite their lack of perceived intelligence, they possess some surprising traits that make them unique in the Jellinu ecosystem.
While Dogglows are often underestimated and left behind by other subspecies, they have a few tricks up their metaphorical sleeves. Their distinctive ability lies in their colorful and unique glow, which they use to illuminate caves or living spaces. This glow not only serves a practical purpose but also becomes a defining feature of each Dogglow's identity. They can even use their glow to communicate when needed.
A side effect of their luminescence is that Dogglows are mildly poisonous, although less so than Monoglows. This poison serves as a deterrent against potential predators, effectively scaring off creatures that might consider Dogglows a tasty snack. Given their slow and small nature, this defense mechanism becomes one of their primary means of survival, contributing to the steady growth of their numbers.
Despite their limited defensive capabilities, Dogglows are omnivorous opportunists, consuming a variety of items, including leaves, grass, and other easily accessible vegetation. Their adaptable diet, combined with their unique glow, enables them to carve out a niche for themselves in the Jellinu ecosystem.

Royal Jellids, the refined and sophisticated relatives of Jellids, possess an almost entirely jelly composition, with their vessel/body being the sole exception, which they can abandon if threatened by a predator. Adorned with metallic rings on their head, thighs, and tail, along with hardened fake jelly eyes, Royal Jellids exude a regal and elegant presence.
Beyond their striking appearance, Royal Jellids boast a rich lore that unveils their unique behaviors. The pebble-collecting habit observed in normal Jellids is a result of Jellakus training them to collect abyss crystals, with Royal Jellids being the successful batch capable of finding these precious gems. Despite Jellakus abandoning them for more efficient methods, Royal Jellids, creatures of habit, persist in wandering endlessly in search of abyss crystals due to their ingrained purpose.
These intelligent beings hoard abyss crystals in their regal crystal caverns, gaining abilities from these precious gems. Older Royal Jellids may even seek out their previous owners who succumbed to the Abyss. However, the interaction with abyssal crystals can have negative effects similar to those experienced by Jellhounds.
Residing in regal crystal caverns, Royal Jellids harbor a natural dislike for Jellhounds, often attempting to remove the abyss collars from their throats or displaying general reluctance to cooperate. This aversion is rooted in the perception that Jellhounds are replacements for their previous relationship with Jellakus.
Prideful and regal by nature, Royal Jellids hold themselves to high standards and engage in a form of competition, impressing each other with the quality of the crystals they find. This competitive streak adds an intriguing layer to their already fascinating and intricate existence.

Jelleyes are characterized by jelly necks, tails, claws, and small wings on their thighs, with their most distinctive feature being their eye-shaped heads, instantly recognizable to any Jellinu, including their adversaries, the Jellakus. Communication among Jelleyes goes beyond verbal means, involving patterns and movements of their eye-shaped heads, creating a unique visual language within Jelleye culture.
Renowned as the guardians of the Jellinu world, Jelleyes boast extensive lifespans, playing a vital role in maintaining peace and order. They actively intervene when Abyssal Jellaku pose a threat, showcasing an impressive sense of order by responding exclusively to Guardian Jelleyes' summons. The elusive Guardian eyes often keep to their sacred altars, rarely seen. Many Jelleyes reside in intricately designed towers, refining magical skills and taking turns overseeing the lands, especially during the active nights of the Jellaku. This vigilant surveillance ensures the safety and protection of the Jellinu world during potentially precarious hours.
In addition to their roles as guardians, Jelleyes prioritize preventing the spread of the abyss within the Jellinu world. While not harboring outright hatred for the Jellaku, a sense of caution prevails in their interactions. This caution arises from the potential threat thatthe Abyss poses to the delicate balance of their realm. Jelleyes approach their counterparts with a watchful eye, recognizing the importance of maintaining equilibrium and safeguarding against the encroachment of abyssal forces that could jeopardize the harmonious existence of the Jellinu world.
It's worth noting that not every member of the Jellaku and Jelleye communities desires to engage in the conflicts. There are small subsections within both species that prefer to live out more peaceful lives, steering away from the battles and choosing paths of tranquility within the enchanted realms they call home.

Jellibytes, intriguing creatures with a biology seemingly impossible without mechanical tinkering, possess distinctive features such as a jelly body and neck, non-functional jelly back legs, wings attached to the arms, and a hollow mask-like head devoid of a tongue. Their unique antenna-like tail adds to their enigmatic appearance.
These creatures are considered living viruses, believed to have evolved from a half-synthetic, half-biological species. Over time, they have melded with their synthetic components, namely the masks and antenna, resulting in the entities known as Jellibytes. Despite their fascinating origins, Jellibytes are perceived as pests due to their disruptive behavior, despised by many species.
Known for their destructive tendencies, Jellibytes engage in stealing from other creatures, destroying habitats, living in dumpsters, and leaving their filth scattered in forests. This behavior has earned them a reputation as vermin, often targeted for elimination and subject to research. However, the mystery of their creation remains unsolved.
Jellibytes, being semi-synthetic, do not require conventional sustenance, drawing energy from the sun to support their existence. Despite this, they are often found consuming inedible objects, particularly batteries or devices. While capable of eating real food, they exhibit a preference for scavenging leftovers from other species rather than hunting for themselves.
The existence of Jellibytes adds an element of curiosity and confusion, as their unique blend of biological and synthetic elements challenges understanding, leaving researchers puzzled about the origin of these disruptive and peculiar creatures.

Within the world of NeoTerra, a peculiar occurrence transpires, wherein the abyss generates entities referred to as Jellaku. Emerging from the depths of the abyssal goo, these Jellaku assume physical forms, particularly adopting imp-like appearances that serve as mysterious embodiments of the essence emanating from the abyss. The abyss extends its invisible presence through Jellinu, employing Jellaku and negative entities as instruments to perpetuate its relentless expansion. Upon first gaining consciousnes, Jellaku are born with extremely poor eyesight, forcing reliance solely on the sense of smell. The empty eye sockets on their bodies, initially devoid of vision, undergo a gradual transformation. Over time, eyes begin to develop within these sockets, ultimately providing Aku with the visual perception it lacked during its initial awakening.
This boundless flat plane is shrouded in perpetual darkness, as light cannot penetrate its depths. The abyssal goo, constituting the very fabric of this realm, serves as the breeding ground for Jellaku. Those who succumb to the allure of the abyss become one with the realm, their voices echoing with sinister motives, drawing others into its grasp. Engaging with the abyss is a perilous endeavor reserved for the most malevolent. Jellinegai, possessing a moderate link to the abyss, can channel void energy towards it, granting them the ability to banish a jelly if they so desire.
The abyss exerts a compelling influence on Jellaku, whose life originates from the abyssal goo. Those who choose to remain in this realm fall under its control, conforming to its desires. While some Jellaku find solace in the abyss, others resist and strive to break free. However, departing the abyss comes at a cost – their bodies undergo increased physical corruption, reacting adversely to the unaccustomed light, resulting in the decay of their forms. The intense pain of Jellaku corruption has the potential to drive them to madness. Those in close proximity to Jellaku may accidentally incur a curse or experience severe illness due to the corrupting effects.

The term “queen” is used to differentiate queens from kings and average jelliwraiths. A wraith may end up as a queen, regardless of their sex or gender. It is unknown what causes a wraith to end up mutating into a queen. Queen jelliwraiths are regarded as the sole dominant jelliwraith in a hive, with control of every wraith’s resin orb. Any developing queens are personally killed off or ejected from the hive by the current queen.
On occasion, an ejected queen will survive outside of the hive and create their own hive, continuing the cycle. Queen jelliwraiths are extremely crucial to maintaining a healthy hive, as their only role in the hive is to provide instructions and direct every connected jelliwraith, however, communicating with dozens of wraiths at once can be overstimulating, which may cause the queen to break out into a violent rampage.
Some queens have even ended up destroying their hive and killing off jelliwraiths in their rage. Despite how destructive this behavior may be, this is a sure sign that the queen is working hard for their hive. Queen jelliwraiths have a dictatorial personality, but a strong aim to improve their wraiths’ lives. Successful queens can build large, elegant hives that last for decades that jelliwraiths of any generation can enjoy.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━The term “king” is used to differentiate kings from queens and average jelliwraiths. A jelliwraith may end up as a king, regardless of their sex or gender. Kings are more likely to develop in the hive if the queen requires them. King jelliwraiths are extremely durable and can take on a great deal of attacks without any jelly armor or protection. This is due to their thick build and their one job: calming rampaging queen jelliwraiths. In fact, kings are often used as punching bags by queens until the king is able to sting them.
King jelliwraiths don’t work on the hive, and instead spend their entire life with the queen as a failsafe against rampages and a source of egg-making. Kings are chosen based on how resilient or appealing they are to the queen, and a queen may choose as many kings they want in their hive. It’s uncommon for a queen to have no kings around.
A king jelliwraith’s stinger contains powerful toxins that can subdue even the most violent of queens. Because of how strong these toxins are, one sting from a king jelliwraith can be fatal to any other subspecies. The chances of this happening are very rare since kings only focus on stinging queens. King jelliwraiths tend to have less intelligence than other wraiths, and have an air-headed, carefree personality to offset a grumpy queen’s attitude.

Jellinegai, often regarded as the fairies of the Jellinu subspecies, share a close relationship with Cosmic negais. The first group of Cosmic Jellinegai developed a deep fondness for Earth and decided to make it their permanent home, transforming into the beings known as Jellinegais. These creatures are prized for their potent magical properties, making them rare and sought after.
Despite their cosmic origins, Jellinegais retain certain features, including masks without mouths and a reduced size, including a smaller void on their chests. They grow smaller tendrils on their thighs, possess a jelly underbelly, neck, and tail, and retain the void on their chest, which continues to serve as a storage space for precious materials.
Jellinegais are characterized by their extreme curiosity, often playing tricks on unsuspecting individuals for amusement. Building close bonds with them is challenging due to their playful nature, but those who succeed may receive random gifts. They may choose to dwell in ruins, temples, or similar structures, and some Jellinegais are even hailed as deities.
As a defense mechanism, Jellinegais can assume a totem form to evade detection, especially when certain subspecies attempt to hunt them for their magical abilities. Attempts to replicate these totem forms for sale lack the same magical properties as true totems, which are typically made of rock or crystal. If feeling threatened, Jellinegais may stay in their totem form until safe or until they encounter someone they believe can assist them.
The dietary habits of Jellinegais remain unknown, with some speculating that they may consume berries found in the bushes around their dwelling places. This mysterious aspect adds to the allure and enigma surrounding these magical beings.

Jelliwhals, primarily sea creatures, are rarely spotted on land, favoring two specific islands—one in the north and the other in the south—for seasonal gatherings. If their islands are disturbed, they swiftly change locations, never returning to the disturbed one. Migration between the islands occurs with the seasons, especially during spring, where they travel long distances by sea in pairs, holding hands to avoid getting lost in the waves.
The sighting of Jelliwhals, illuminated by the sunset around Valentine’s Day, has become closely associated with love and commitment. Couples often flock to beachside resorts with histories of Jelliwhals sightings, considering it a good omen for their romantic chances. When two Jelliwhals hold hands, a neural link is established through the contact of the jelly on their paws, enabling telepathic communication between them. This bond is believed to be the reason for their paired travels, as it facilitates a journey that would be otherwise impossible alone.
The horn on their whale-like heads aids in navigation and attracts prey, which can be stunned with strikes from the Jelliwhals' horns. The length of the horn often signifies their status within groups, with the tallest-horned Jelliwhal leading the way. The strong tails on their heads propel them through the water at high speeds, and to maintain control, they have evolved stiff fins on their legs and arms. The combined fins of two Jelliwhals enable swift, graceful movement and sharp, instantaneous changes of direction when avoiding obstacles and predators.
Some groups exploit the aphrodisiac-like properties of the jelli in the Jelliwhals' horns, crushing and mixing it with water to create "love potions" sold in underground markets at exorbitant prices. Despite being a protected species, the potential for profit tempts many to illegally hunt Jelliwhals for their horns, leading to ongoing challenges in conservation efforts.

Copykats emerged from a genetic experiment aimed at enhancing Jellinu defenses, but it led to a complex and unstable mutation. Originally equipped with rattles on their ears like rattlesnakes, their shape-shifting abilities were simpler.
In the past, Copykats could only make minor alterations to their bodies, such as having an oddly shaped tail or shrinking a leg. However, they later discovered an ancient bell with magical resonance, which transformed their rattles into bells. These new bells significantly enhanced their shapeshifting abilities, allowing them to completely change their appearance at will. With their enhanced powers, Copykats would be able to disguise themselves as anything from everyday objects such as trees or even rocks to now being able to mimic the form of other Jellies.
In addition to their shapeshifting skills, Copykats use their bells and whiskers to communicate with each other. The bells produce subtle, distinct tones that serve as signals or alerts, while their whiskers are sensitive to vibrations, helping them interpret and relay messages. Their mischievous and chaotic nature makes them natural tricksters who delight in playing pranks and creating confusion, often using their shapeshifting abilities and communication signals to cause harmless trouble and test the patience of other Jellies.

Jellimodos, among the earliest groups of Jellotls to leave the ocean, migrated to tropical islands and, through years of evolution, gave rise to the subspecies now recognized as Jellimodos. These creatures are primarily diurnal, with up to 12 hours spent in slumber. When awake, they indulge in sunbathing, typically during the morning and part of the afternoon. Jellimodos construct burrows near their frequent foraging spots, utilizing them as shelters as needed.
As solitary creatures, Jellimodos exhibit unique defensive behaviors when threatened. Their initial response involves inflating their chests and raising head feathers to appear more imposing, accompanied by low grumbling sounds. Persistent threats risk encountering the toxic jelly produced by Jellimodos, expelled when their necks swell. Adding to their defensive repertoire, Jellimodos can incapacitate intruders by striking them with their tails. This combination of toxins and physical prowess establishes Jellimodos as formidable hunters, with the likelihood of prey successfully evading them being minimal.
