You could use your Companion Book to look up unknown words found in the Student's Book Units as well as online dictionaries such as the one in the link below
Use the Pre A1 Wordlist Picture book and discuss what you see in the images with your child! This should help both their vocabulary and their speaking skills.

Revise the Alphabet. Here is a song and a game.
Revise the Colours ( black, blue, green, yellow, white, orange, red, grey, brown, pink, purple etc.)
Revise the Days of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Revise the Months of the Year (January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December).
Revise the Numbers 1 – 10 (one, two, three, four, five six, seven, eight, nine, ten)
Revise the numbers 11 – 20 (eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty).
