Re-home, Don't Abandon
All dogs deserve to be in a loving home, please do not dump them. We understand that the choice to re-home your pup is not easy and it is very emotional. Some foster based rescues do a temporary hold for owners in need of temporary assistance. There are many reasons you may need to re-home your pup but some of these resources might help you keep your pup!
Can You Keep Your Pup?
There are many reasons you may feel the need to surrender your pup, but you might not need to! The resources below can help you find solutions to behavioral issues, house/crate training issues, excessive barking, health/grooming, and so much more. Listed here are also insurance companies that aren't breed discriminatory along with dog friendly housing.

Auto-Owners Insurance: They evaluate the dogs on a case by case basis and focus on the individual dog behavior over breed stereotypes.
Chubb: They do not have breed restrictions, instead they focus on responsible pet ownership and they assess the individual dogs.
Allstate: They consider the demeanor and bite history instead of breed restrictions.
Re-homing On Your Own
We know that humane societies and foster based rescues aren't for every dog. Here are some websites you can post your pup for adoption for free. Post your pup on Facebook, Nextdoor, at local veterinary clinics, dog parks, coffee shops, and gas stations. Some foster based rescues will do courtesy posts for you.
