I created this video to show the motivation and determination I have to become a Physical Education teacher. My drive through high school and college sports pushed me into a better understanding of the rise of childhood obesity and the struggles students have today getting outside and being active. With my first undergraduate degree in Recreation Administration, I was able to interact with community members (both young and old) to help create better programs for their families. I also faced angry/upset parents weekly, which helped me hone my communication skills. Working in very diverse communities has allowed me to speak to community members from all different walks of life. Understanding the community and individual needs has shaped me into becoming the best Physical Education teacher I can be.

This screencastify allowed me to make a super quick video outlining how to "bump, set, spike" in a traditional physical education class. By having the ability to record videos while outlining lessons for students to watch, this gives educators a positive outlet in case schools have to go to e-learning.
