Emoji Retells

This is one of my favorite activities! Try having students summarize the story they listened to with only 6 Emoji. They'll need to be creative to fit what they need in only 6 boxes while thinking critically to decide how to best represent the story. After they've finished their Emoji retell, try having students speak or write a more formal retell using their own visual prompts!
