Amps

I have developed my own system of note-taking for podcasts which I call, Amps. These are inspired and influenced by the Signposts from Notice & Note by Beers and Probst. If you are familiar with the Signposts, you'll see some similarities, but also notice several differences. Essentially, the Amps are a tool that help direct students while listening to look for moments that help to amplify their comprehension, while recognizing how soundscapes and music c(l)ues support their listening. I have implemented this tool with over 1,000 students in various settings and have found great success. I would love to talk with you if you're interested!
