Youth Researcher teams Are hard at work
Seven 3-person teams of talented, insightful students from Wheat Ridge, Lakewood, McLain, Long View and Jefferson Jr/Sr. High Schools are planning a series of youth focus group, along with photo or video stories, on the challenging topic of youth perceptions about what underlies youth depression and anxiety; youth violence; and youth substance abuse. They are also looking at what our community might be able to do to help our youth prevent or mitigate these issues, ideally before they ever even begin.
Check back soon for updates, including opportunities for youth from those schools to attend focus groups.
