The Trevor Project
Trained counselors are here to support LGBTQIA+ youth 24/7. If you are a young person in crisis, feeling suicidal, or in need of a confidential, safe and judgment-free place to talk, call the Trevor Project now at 1-866-488-7386 or text START to 678678 or chat online.
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call or text 988 or chat online.
The Center on Colfax
The Center on Colfax: To engage, empower, enrich, and advance the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community of Colorado. Find resources for youth, events for youth, and more for LGBT+ people of all ages.
Colorado Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline

Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault
Colorado has a large number of rape crisis centers throughout the state that can be of help to you. These centers provide free, confidential referrals and services for sexual assault victims, survivors, and their close family and friends. See more to find your local center.

Human Rights Campaign
The Initiative
The Initiative (previously known as the Domestic Violence Initiative for Women with Disabilities or DVI) advocates for persons with disabilities who have experienced abuse. The Initiative provides comprehensive, creative, and collaborative services in order to address clients' complex goals and objectives. These services primarily fall within 4 categories: safety, self-sufficiency, criminal justice support, and recovery and healing. Further, these services are rooted in accessible, culturally-responsive, and trauma-informed (ACRTI) approaches to advocacy.
All services are mobile and dynamic, and all services are available to monolingual Spanish speakers and victims in rural areas. Additionally, office culture, language usage, and core values and beliefs at The Initiative are LGBTQ+ inclusive. Click here for more information.
