I am involved in coordinating research projects, planning, designing & implementing research, writing research project proposals, designing research tools, mentoring and supervising junior and field researchers, liaising with partner organizations & local stakeholders including the government and, taking part in external professional activities and administration of the institute etc.

September 2020- Expert member for 8.7 Policy Guide Working, United Nations University, Centre for Policy Research.
Activities and Responsibilities Undertaken:
Provide advice and technical support through multi-stakeh expert Working Group to develop 8.7 Policy Guide to identify the multilateral and national policies available to accelerate progress towards SDG Target 8.7 in one of three broad policy domains
Justice – including criminal and civil justice, survivor engagement and support, including the role of the health sector;
Markets–including all aspects of economic, trade and financial policy, including supply chains and development policy;
Crisis – including conflict, humanitarian and crisis response, as well as migration.
April - September 2020. International Advisory Board (IAB) Member, for ILO's projects, “From Research to Action: Using knowledge to accelerate progress in the elimination of child labor and force labor” (R2A) and; The Project “Measurement, awareness-raising, and policy engagement” (MAP16),
Activities and Responsibilities Undertaken:
Provided technical advice on child labor and forced labor indicators and research (for stand-alone national child labour survey and a child labour module for inclusion in household survey)
Provided technical and strategic guidance on wider policy dialogue on child labour and force labour )map key research institutions, activities, outputs and data providers in the forced labor and child labor)
Contributed to evidence gap mapping on child labour (https://rtaproject.org/child-labour-egm/), forced labour (https://rtaproject.org/forced-labour-egm/) and human trafficking (https://rtaproject.org/human-trafficking-egm/).
May - July 2020: Expert member, National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Nepal.
Activities and Responsibilities Undertaken:
Conducted review and analysis of the literature
Carried out fieldwork consisting of interviews, consultations with stakeholders and field observation.
Wrote the final report,' Rights of Nepali Migrant Workers amid the COVID-19: A Rapid Study' (in Nepali).
April 2018–August 2018: Expert Member, Task Force Committee, Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security (MoLESS), Government of Nepal.
Activities and Responsibilities Undertaken:
Reviewed foreign employment related policy, laws, and other provisions and identified problems and challenges associated with foreign employment
Made recommendations and suggestions in a Report to address these problems and challenges, sustainable strategic plans to ensure safe, managed, and dignified foreign employment
February 2016-June 2016: Social Inclusion and Grievance Management Adviser, National Reconstruction Authority (NRA), Government of Nepal, Kathmandu Nepal.
Activities and Responsibilities Undertaken:
Studied and identified potential grievances related to rural housing reconstruction including the housing grant disbursement.
Developed Standard Operational Procedures for Grievance Redress and Management for Housing Reconstruction Programme.
Helped develop Grievance Registration Form, Grant Participation Agreement Form, Proxy Form, Land Authorization Form, and Information Booklet (Janakari Pustika) for rural housing reconstruction grant.
