The Galactic History
The Galaxy of the Republic was created in 13 billion BBY and life formed in 5 billion BBY. The Galaxy is diverse with it's history being large and complicated. The Jedi archives are here to simplify the history of the Galaxy for you. Unfortunately the Republic fell years ago but we the new Jedi Order is trying to find old information and pile it all together. (Updated 37ABY)
The Dawn of the Jedi
The dawn of the jedi was around 25,025BBY, when the jedi were at peak. The Jedi back then were actually called Je'Daii, founded by a group on the planet of Tython. They were the first jedi and founded the Order. All though at first there were only Je'Daii, the ones who put good use of the Light Side of the force, a new evil group started forming called the Sith, these people use the dark side of the force.
The Old Republic
The Old Republic was founded 25,053 BBY, when the Republic was first founded and the Galactic Senate was born. This is where the war of Jedi and Sith broke out. The Jedi are peacekeepers while the Sith uses the dark side of the force to commit henious crimes. Back then there were countless siths untill the sith lord Darth Bane created The Rule of 2, meaning there can only be 2 siths at a time, a master and an apprentince.

The Republic
The Republic is the civilization taken place on the busy planet of Corusant. The Republic have fearless protectors called Jedi (Renamed from Je'Daii). The Republic ordered an army of Clone Troopers which would then be the demise of the Republic.
The Senate
The Senate
The Senate was the government system of the Republic with the Chancellor being Sheev Palpatine. According to some people the Senate was corrupt and the Jedi have lost their ways, which turned out to be true.
The Fall of the Jedi
The Jedi Order fell at 19BBY, when Order66 was executed by Emperor Palpatine. Clones all over the galaxy got the command and started killing all the Jedi in sight. The Jedi Temple was turned into the Imperial Palace, then most of the information in the Jedi Archives were burned down by the Clones but some information survived. Unfortunetly the Republic was formed into the first Galactic Empire.
Reign of the Empire
The Empire rose to power in19BBY as Order66 was executed which wiped out nearly all of the Jedi, then the Empire rose to power ruling the Galaxy for over 20 years. But however the Empire eventually fell under the hands of the Rebellion Alliances. Most people think 4ABY was the year the Empire fell, but the Empire actually fell at 5ABY at the Battle of Jakku. The Empire's most feared weapon was the Death Star, and there were 2 of them. The first one was destroyed by a young rebel called Luke S̴̨̨̼̻͖͙̔̈́k̵͉̩͑̉͑͆̉͘͝y̸͎̋ẘ̵̯͖̠́̒̈̕ȧ̶̛͖̤̼̥͙̤̾͑̽̌͜͝l̴̩̇̄͆̆̕ḱ̸̨̲̤̞̈́͂̽̎̕͜e̴̥̟͓̔̅̍̇́r̶̪̹̮̄͘. The second Death Star was constructed the same year the empire fell at 4ABY.
