T-Mobile has allocated a budget to enhance their cellphone tower infrastructure in order to maximize coverage across Los Angeles County. The budget allows for one of three potential upgrades: increasing cellphone tower height, expanding cellphone tower range, or installing three new towers.

Since cellphone tower coverage depends on line of sight, a viewshed analysis was conducted to simulate the coverage of each option. The analysis indicates that adding three new towers offers the most substantial improvement in area coverage compared to the other two options.

Among these possibilities, adding three new towers is projected to yield the highest return on investment. This strategic upgrade aims to significantly enhance network reliability and coverage across the county.
