Hello there, my name is Jessie Clay and this semester I have been researching the topic of Harassment on College Females. My group as a whole is analyzing different areas of today's society where women are oppressed. Being a first year college student and woman myself, I chose to specifically look into why college campuses in general have become so dangerous, and why certain females are prone to victimization at the college age. Below I have attached my podcast, its corresponding script, and a works cited page. This podcast takes an in depth look at many different statistics, journal articles, and research studies with the purpose of educating young adults of the issue of harassment on college females. Through my research I have found that there has been an increase in the number of studies focused on sexual assault of women in higher levels of education in the last several decades. The studies show that there appears to be patterns of victimization over time and trends between the predators and victims. I will be discussing these topics and more by using several sources to make my claims and discuss my topic. This podcast will engage the audience with facts and eye opening numbers. I invite you to take a few minutes to explore my topic with me, and thank you for your time and attention.
