Welcome!
My name is Jessie Clay and I am a first year student at the College of Coastal Georgia. This site contains each of my projects for my English 1102 class. With three of my peers, we researched different areas and subcategories of ways in which females are oppressed. Being eighteen and beginning my college experience, I specifically researched how female college students are more vulnerable to assault and tend to live with greater fear than male students on campuses. The purpose of our overall project was to prove a clear pattern of oppression towards females in society, and my goal for this portfolio was to bring awareness and question why exactly women pursuing higher levels of education are more likely to be harassed. I have included some images to show a bit about myself and my interests. Please explore and enjoy the portfolio!
