JR BAND INTERVIEW AT RX RADIO

JR BAND INTERVIEW AT RX RADIO

The Jazz Yard Academy Junior band doing an interview at The Red Cross Children's hospital for RX Radio. Both radio presenters are patients at The Red Cross Hospital. The interview was focused on the change that music can bring to the average Joe. It also focused on the positive effects of music. For some it is an escape from their daily routine of medication and hardships. Music unites us all both able bodied and physically challenged. Music is a universal language and here at the Jazz Yard Academy our slogan is SPREAD THE LOVE

JAZZATHON 2016

The Jazz Yard Academy one of many selected to be apart of this fantastic event. Both our Jr & Snr bands got the opportunity to grace the stage and express their talents. This year we also had ex students of the academy perform as a unit and accompanying the Snr band. The Jazz Yard Kids performed to the best of their ability and happened to make name that year by having the audience on there feet.

This is a event our kids look forward to because it gives them the opportunity to express themselves on a well known stage.
