In this Cyclistic bike-share case study, I analyzed usage patterns to identify differences between annual members and casual riders. The analysis was conducted in Python, following a systematic approach that included data preparation, cleaning, and analysis. I unified the datasets, removed duplicates and incomplete entries, and created additional columns such as ride length and day of the week for further analysis. The findings revealed that casual riders tend to take longer trips, particularly on weekends, while annual members have more consistent usage throughout the week, resulting in a higher overall number of rides. These insights led to actionable recommendations aimed at optimizing the bike-share system. I have attached both the Python code used for this analysis and a detailed Medium blog explaining the code and the insights derived from this case study.
The average ride duration for casual users is higher than that of members.
The number of rides and average ride duration were examined by rider type (member vs. casual) and day of the week.

This case study delves into the analysis of smart device usage data to uncover actionable insights for Bellabeat, a wellness-focused technology company. Leveraging datasets on activity and sleep patterns, I performed data cleaning and transformation in R to ensure data consistency and integrity. Key metrics, such as sleep efficiency and activity-to-sedentary ratios, were calculated to gain deeper insights. The findings revealed that many users have high sedentary minutes and suboptimal sleep efficiency, presenting opportunities for Bellabeat to target these segments with customized product features and marketing campaigns. By aligning these insights with Bellabeat's objectives, I developed recommendations to enhance customer engagement and promote growth through data-driven strategies. The Medium blog explaining the process and the GitHub file containing the Python script are attached here for reference.
Shows the inverse relationship between daily steps and sedentary minutes, indicating that increased steps lead to reduced sedentary behavior.
Compares total minutes asleep to total time in bed, revealing outliers with low efficiency.

This case study delves into "The Movies Dataset" to uncover key trends and insights related to the film industry. Through an examination of genres, revenue, ratings, and popularity, I uncover patterns that contribute to box office success. Notable findings include the dominance of Action and Adventure genres, a positive relationship between ratings and revenue, and the influence of popularity on financial outcomes. These insights lead to actionable recommendations for strategic decision-making.
This analysis is done using Python, and you can refer to the attached Python code and my Medium Blog for a detailed explanation of the process.
Action and Adventure genres lead in average revenue generation, followed by Science Fiction and Fantasy. These genres consistently attract large audiences, making them lucrative for production houses.
Movies with moderate budgets often achieve the highest ROI. While large-budget films generate significant revenue, their ROI is often lower due to high production costs.
The average revenue of movies has shown a steady increase, particularly after the early 2000s, likely due to advancements in global distribution and marketing strategies.
