In this project, we were tasked to find information regarding technology security examples. Once I found my sources, I checked for descriptive information of the article that had to do with cyber attacks such the hacker in UMMC and E-Z Pass phishing scammers.
I learned that there's so many scammers who always find a way to get your information by impersonation or by simply sending you a sketchy message asking for help. Through these articles, I learned that hacking can also come from the inside of an institution and powers of security can be compromised, so it's always better to not have anything that would effect you personally like photos you don't want to share publicly or easily accessible information.
This article is about a pharmacist, who works at UMMC, hacking computers to watch female doctors undress themselves and breastfeeding by accessing their devices through cybersecurity software. The perpetrator was discovered and the victims are taking legal action against him and UMMC for lack of basic cyber security.

As well as this assignment, I've also completed the CCBC Cybersecurity Training. It felt awesome to actually complete something a teacher needs to do too. I've completed all assessments with flying marks and earned my certification.
