Well, my name is Jayda. I am not a student that has a huge interest in writing nor I am confident about writing however, over this course my confidence as writer has boosted. It was surprising for me because I felt that when it came to writing it was one of my weakest abilities throughout school. Over the time in English class, I learned so much new things that helped me with my writing ability and my analyzing skills. For one, I learned how to write a memoir something I have never done before and it gained me confidence in writing. Which was so helpful and is something I can use in the future for other classes even with my career. Even with this portfolio I am doing now will be great practice when I become a dentist. This class also helped me with my communication skills by speaking out in class which I will be using in my future endeavors.
