Heyo! My name is Jason Pambuena (Woohoo!)

I graduated with a B.S. Degree in Computer Game Science from UC Irvine in 2023. My hometown is in a little humble village called Monrovia in California.

I love Vocaloid, and although I only have one quarter experience with Japanese, I just love the introspective thematics and overall sound of Vocaloid.
Je sais comment à parler, lire et écrire français! (I know how to speak, read, and write French!)
One of my favorite anime in recent memory is the 1980s Japanese anime 名犬ジョリィor Belle and Sebastien. It's based on the French novel by the same name, and I watched it through in French one summer.
My favorite anime of all time though HAS to be Nichijou (My Ordinary Life). (Such a good anime!)
Studio Ghibli is my intro into anime, AND one of my favorite animation studios of all time.
- My dream game would be to create a Studio Ghibli themed game based on Belle and Sebastien.

other experiences / hobbies!

I was the president of the French Club in Pasadena City College for the Spring 2020 semester, just before I transferred into UC Irvine. Unfortunately that was also the time when COVID-19 started, but I learned a ton in how to lead and manage the club through organizing activities both in-person and remotely.
I was the only high-school student awarded a Certificat D'excellence from in South Pasadena High School during their 2017 student award ceremony. It was really a great honor to recieve this award recognizing my ability to learn French, especially with how tough my experience was during high school.
I'm currently the Events Coordinator for UCI's Video Game Development Club. Which means I'm in charge of organizing future events as well as reserving and managing venues for said events.
