Groups often make assumptions about their users without even realizing it. In some cases, this can be as broad as not knowing who their users are. Other times, generalizations are made about user needs, desires, and behaviors. Most important, there is very rarely one singular user group but rather an ecosystem of multiple user groups – sometimes with competing needs.
I worked with Northwestern teams to identify their users and leverage both qualitative & quantitative research methods to reach objectives and exceed expectations.
