When PMI Mile Hi transitioned its flagship annual Symposium into a hybrid event during the pandemic, the challenge was not only logistical, it was creative. The event needed to retain its sense of connection, prestige, and brand integrity while reaching a diverse, now-remote audience. The theme, “Diamonds: Made Under Pressure,” set the tone for a project that demanded cohesion, clarity, and creative resilience.
Event Marketing Strategy:
Authored and led the cross-channel marketing strategy, aligning messaging, voice, timing, and creative execution across video, web, and social platforms.
Creative Narrative Development:
Collaborated with the Senior Creative Director, Art Director, and Project Manager to define the event’s narrative through-line, by translating “Diamonds: Made Under Pressure” into visual storytelling, copy, and motion content.
Brand Identity Development:
Partnered with the Art Director to develop the visual and thematic identity, from typography and color to tone and motion language.
Branding Style Guide:
Built and maintained the event’s branding guide alongside the Art Director, ensuring consistency across all internal teams, vendors, and speaker materials.
Promo & Content Production:
Produced video promos, sizzle reels, and on-site/virtual speaker support content. Oversaw scripting, editorial alignment, and delivery timelines across multiple channels. Included managing Social Media content pipeline.
Speaker Support:
Led content creation and production support for high-profile keynotes including Damon John (Shark Tank) and Aaron Ralston (127 Hours), ensuring alignment across creative and technical needs.
Hybrid Delivery Support:
Provided creative oversight and logistical production for both the in-person and virtual elements of the event under shifting timelines and platform constraints.

The project helped PMI Mile Hi successfully deliver a high-value hybrid Symposium at a time of global uncertainty. Attendance remained strong, brand consistency elevated the attendee experience, and the creative direction reinforced the event’s leadership presence within the project management community.
This was a project where creative clarity was everything. Under pressure, story and strategy became the structure, not just for the content, but for how we led, collaborated, and delivered.
