Prospective Career Choice

After studying BIT, it pushed me forward to work as a professional in the IT field and I target to be a game developer.

When I was a child, I have started playing different types of game and they are not only a entertainment for me, but a beautiful memories and even dreamland. I was deeply captivated by the game that time and I dream of producing the same effect to the new generations. It will be a great achievement to spread the dream and happiness through my beloved games.

To reach my dream, I have to enhance my programming skill to more advanced level. At current level, I can only create basic command in python and some recursive functions. It is not enough to make a interesting game. I need to explore more on different type of programs used in some characters’ action and some vision effect since I may need to generate new program in my own or with my partners in the future. Moreover, I should practice coding with another language such as Java, C++ and JavaScript to understand more about the logic of programming.

Furthermore, I need to know about the current trend of game due to new progress in technology like Virtual Reality. It is important to understand the market demand and predict the future trend because progressive games have higher attractive power to the players. This can also suit the majority of the players.
