James is a pleasure to work with and an excellent UX designer! He is extremely detail oriented and reliably outperformed on the most complex and technical projects. Self-motivated and determined, James successfully navigated a complex organization with systematic approach to learning. Simply point him in the right direction and there's no stopping how far he will go to learn, solve and align with fellow team members. His designs live on, years later, and have proven to be future-friendly. By learning all the minutia, James was able to foresee areas where requirements would inevitably change and designed solutions that were flexible and resilient.

James is hands-down the best UX Designer I've ever worked with. His talent and passion for creating an awesome user experience is unmatched. James is also one of the more "technical" designers I've known, and he works well within the engineering team to deliver designs that not only provide the best user experience but are also technically realistic and feasible. That said, he's not afraid to push the envelope and explore what can be squeezed out of the latest technologies. James is an all-around great guy and a true pleasure to work with. He would make a great addition to any engineering and/or design team.

James is an incredible designer, mentor, and all-around great person. I had the pleasure of working alongside him for multiple years at Sovos, and his impact on the company (as well as my own work) as a UX Architect was extremely significant.

He is a very friendly and collaborative person, always looking to gain input and buy-in from stakeholders, designers, developers, and users. James is a fantastic person to collaborate with. He has great insight into design while being open to outside ideas from other team members and other groups. He does a great job of working at the pace needed by the team and can quickly turn around the right level of detail when something unexpected comes up, often faster than originally thought. All around he both does great work and is easy to work with.
