How can I join?

There are a number of ways you can join the SIG:

1. When you join JALT, or renew your membership at, https://jalt.org/joining choose to also join the SIG (you can join one SIG included in your JALT membership fee, otherwise it's ¥2,000 for each additional SIG.

2. After you sign in using your JALT ID, click on your name in the top right. There will be a pull down menu. Select 'Explore SIGs'. That gives you the full list of SIGs. Choose on the SIG you are interested in. Scroll down for the 'Subscribe to SIG', and 'Add to Cart' green button. When you add it to your cart, it will be dated the same as your JALT membership. So please consider this timing when joining a new SIG.

What does membership include?

You will be added to our mailing list, where you will get:

• our biannual newsletter-journal 'BC News' (published online)

• information about conferences and other events that the SIG is taking part in

• invitations to participate in our forums at JALT conferences over the course of the year, and to attend the general business meetings 

• publication of the minutes from the SIG's Annual General Meeting (AGM)
