Combining my scientific work with my passion for writing, I have dedicated a significant part of my career to science communication. In this context, my books Los desiertos y la desertificación (Deserts and desertification), Desertification, Land in Troubled Waters, and Expediciones al Sahara Atlántico, written in collaboration with the Asociación Harmusch, of which I am a founding member, stand out. I contribute to various science communication blogs and platforms such as The Conversation, Naukas, and La cuadratura del círculo (at CSIC).
