My passion lies in understanding mechanical behavior of materials at various length and time scales. I developed this interest in solid mechanics through finding answers to many of the questions that occurred to me at various periods of my undergraduate study. Few of those questions are listed here.
These queries exposed me to diverse and advanced topics in mechanics of materials such as dislocation dynamics, isogeometric analysis, metamaterials, active materials, and viscoelasticity. These inquiries act as a major source of curiosity. Especially that "aha" moment I experience once I figured answers to these doubts and the delight that I procure by comprehending the underlying physics deeply are the key factors that created interest towards mechanics of materials.
