My major interest lies in understanding mechanics of materials at various length and time scales. That motivated me to pursue advanced courses related to solid mechanics.

Curiosity to know how a collection of tiny transistors could perform so complicated calculations and how such devices are fabricated at very small scale made me pursue microelectronics as my minor.

Before completely deciding mechanics as my field of study, Internal Combustion Engines and Heat Transfer were my other interests. However, in course of time, I understood mechanics is the topic in which I would enjoy the best!
