Hello K 1st 2nd grade art students. I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine and are finding ways to be creative This week I thought we could make some art that is colorful and will brighten up our lives. Think about the colors of the rainbow and ways that we can use the bands of colors in artwork. Use what ever art supplies you have even side walk chalk would be cool. Make rainbows art that shows our positivity and hope. Write on your drawing also if it helps you express your feelings. I’m adding some photos of colorful art that I have seen that have made me smile.

Hello 3rd 4th 5th grade art students I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine and are finding ways to be creative This week I thought we could make some art about what is happening in our lives. I saw this child’s drawing the other day it was shared on Facebook by a friend of mine in England , it shows the essential workers represented as people holding up and supporting the county. Can you think of a way to represent things in the USA or Tennessee or Hendersonville/Gallatin and show the positive things that are happening at this time. Or can you draw something that’s shows your appreciation?!
