Use the paper provided- fill in oo in the middle of each word. You can use froot loops, cheerios, pennies, or whatever you have around your house. Then read each word to a parent.

Play the oo game. You can play with mom or dad or a sibling. Take turns reading a word. If you read the word correctly, you can cover that word by coloring it or using a dot marker. The first one to get four in a row wins the game.
Listen to the book “If I Ran the Zoo”. Create a new type of animal that Gerald McGrew would want in his zoo. Illustrate it and write about it.
Practice the oo by coloring the chunk and reading the word.
Try to read the Level D "Animals Like to Eat" page. Can you share what you learned with someone in your house?
Challenge: circle three words and write a sentence for each.
Watch the video and learn about tigers.
Read the nonfiction text on tigers. Use the chart to write what you know about tigers. Then use the lined writing paper (or your own paper) to write sentences about tigers. Don't forget to start your sentences with a capital letter and end with punctuation.
For Fun: Color and cut out the tiger OR draw a tiger on your own paper.
