"Explain It To A Teenager"
TVREV’s Explain It To A Teenager Series’features teenagers informally interviewing industry experts in quick, casual interviews, produced by Fabric Media.
Completed 7 episodes, prepped 3 additional project builds over a three-day contract, in-office in Mar Vista.
My responsibilities focus on overhauling the Post-Production process for the young creators:
Ingesting/encoding various forms of media to fit the show theme
Building projects in Premiere Pro, including show-build templates, lower thirds, music, and transitions
Extensive audio editing to correct amateur recording, including adjusting Stereo outputs, using Equalizers and Compressors to amend audio quality and background noise, applying filters to salvage outdoor audio quality
Exporting episode transcripts for QC and client clearance
Exporting & Maintaining file structure, utilizing Frame.io, Google Drive, and a new external hard drive
The goal of my job with Fabric Media was to refine the filming, editing, and publishing process so the independent student creators may own the course in entirety and learn how to elevate their content to professional quality in the long-term.
