Chelsea FC is my favorite team. I have supported them since I was 8 years old. Watching Eden Hazard's flashy dribbles and pure prowess continued to inspire me as a player as I grew up and has contributed to my strong support of the Belgian national team. However, for the past few seasons, it has been difficult to watch Chelsea play. Sanctions from the UK government resulted in the sale of the club from previous Russian owner Roman Abramovich to American Todd Boehly, who subsequently started a rebuilding era, bringing in many youth players with the hopes of watching them develop into stars in the future. In the current Chelsea team, there is an interesting mix of profiles in the attacking midfield/winger department. Cole Palmer has been phenomenal this season, scoring and assisting at an incredibly high level, but he does not dribble very directly. Sterling and Mudryk have very similar profiles. Both players love to take players on and dribble as often as possible, and both have mediocre goal scoring and assisting numbers. Finally, Noni Madueke is a very direct player who loves to dribble players and score or play a progressive pass. The right combination of these players will be crucial to Chelsea's chances of playing European football in the near future.

Manchester City are in an interesting position. They bought Jack Grealish in the summer of 2021 from Aston Villa. He was an exciting young player who was known for beating players and scoring. Since then, he has bought into Pep Guardiola's system and has noticeably decreased his dribbling output and now looks to slow and calm down games in order to maintain control for City. Conversely, the signing of Jeremy Doku in the summer of 2023 from Stade Rennais was surprising considering that Pep had worked so hard to mold Grealish from his dribbling tendencies to his more game-controlling role that he plays now, and Doku was even more of a dribbler than Grealish ever was. Yet, Doku has continued his style and almost perfected his game of beating his man, getting to the byline, and cutting the ball back for a teammate to tap in. The debate of who to start is difficult, as Grealish certainly helps them control games, but Doku is ridiculously effective at what he does.
