In my career as a Director/Producer, I have either aided in or headed the completion of over 1,000 projects (including both Film and Theatre), varying in degree from short films (generally comedy) I make for my own entertainment, to semi-professional and professional operations (most recently was my direction of The Crown Revue's production of Hamlet in 2022). In these projects, I have assisted as directors, boom operators, camera operators, script supervisors, production assistants - "Jack of all Trades" is the short version.

As a constantly practicing filmmaker in Southwest Michigan, I have become extremely used to having a small budget. This has taught me exceptional adaptive, artistic, and logistical skills - after all, necessity is the mother of invention. These sets of skills, which have seen me through so many productions, have also gifted me some independent contract work as a filmmaker. I have been hired for such projects as filming a Survivor audition tape, a few Business Pitches for the 2019 E-fest competition, a Power Wash company ad, and an Anti-Smoking PSA for Western Michigan University which won a close 2nd place. I currently own the equipment necessary to make high-level semi-professional 4k video accompanied by a similar level of audio quality. Whereas I can't say I have all the resources of a professional studio, I can boast that my equipment and my team are of great quality!

I also have some valuable experience as a writer! Both the Dead Wait series below and half of the Baked With Good Intentions series were my handiwork, and since then I've been honing that skill further.

In short, my range of experience in both low-budget filmmaking and semi-professional productions, in a plethora of positions, makes me a professional, patient, and capable leader or hand on set.
