I am a recent graduate from Western Washington University and a local filmmaker based in Washington State. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Production, specializing in filmmaking, visual effects, and audio production, complemented by a minor in Audio Technology, Music and Society.
My passion is rooted in crafting unique and visually stunning media that truly captivates an audience, with the core goal of creating visually arresting, jaw-dropping shots. I approach filmmaking and editing with a strong artistic drive, often leaning into a refined retro film aesthetic. My creative process is informed by a hands-on understanding of tangible film media, including experience shooting with and developing Super 8mm film. This foundational knowledge translates into my post-production work where I use film emulation and advanced color grading techniques to achieve a beautiful, organic look. As an accomplished videographer, editor, and visual artist, I thrive on pushing the visual and technical limits of a project to deliver unforgettable, high-impact content for all my clients and collaborators.
My technical foundation is comprehensive and spans the entire production workflow. I am an expert in the professional editing and visual effects suite, proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Blender. My skill set includes advanced VFX compositing such as rotoscoping, keying, matting, and the seamless integration of custom 3D elements with live-action footage. Furthermore, I bring substantial experience from my time as a Broadcast Lead Technician, managing complex multi-camera live streams and AV signal flow with systems like PTZ Optics and Roland switchers. On the audio front, I am a seasoned Audio Engineer with expertise in Pro Tools & Ableton, as well as studio recording on professional consoles. I am dedicated to continuous growth and innovation, actively expanding my skills in cutting-edge platforms like Unreal Engine for virtual production and Nuke for advanced compositing, ensuring I always deliver using the most effective and future-forward techniques.
When I'm not in the edit suite, I'm usually found geeking out over vintage hardware. I'm a passionate self-producer creating digital music in Ableton and Pro Tools, but my real love is for analog gear: I've become quite the expert at restoring old Tascam and Teac cassette machines, soldering and fixing belts to bring that retro sound back to life. This mechanical curiosity also spills into fixing up vintage video game consoles like the Nintendo 64 and working on my own short film projects. Simply put, if it's media or it has wires, I love figuring out how it works and how to make it sound or look cooler.
