All show signups will be posted in Google Classroom. Please note: Backstage Volunteers must submit a background check.
Background Checks - if you have completed a check within the past year with a school, religious or community organization, just email a screenshot to director@irvingyouththeatre.com. If you need to complete a background check, submit this request form: (https://forms.gle/zaFbcPi8j847u9gp6) in order to begin the application process through Active Screening
Please refer to the IYT Handbook for role descriptions. All volunteer jobs coordinate with the directors' vision for each show.
Show Captains - Coming soon! Sign Up for Show Parent Support (Costumes, Show Parent, Sets, Lobby Lead, etc.) - some roles may include a show fee discount

Community Volunteers
Students may earn Community Service hours by participating in set builds or helping with Lobby Sales or Ushering. Please see the Director or Volunteer Coordinator for information.
Other Community Volunteers will get preference on ushering roles. If we have parents sign up to usher, but we have a volunteer from the community volunteer, we always allow the community volunteer to serve. Parents can serve in another capacity or enjoy the show. See this link for more information.
