ORTHOSIS
Resting-hand orthosis was created to immobilize the wrist, fingers, and thumb, and is an important intervention for patients with many clinical conditions, including stroke, arthritis, burns, and others. It provides protection and a safe position for healing.
I created a low-profile radial nerve palsy orthosis The beauty of this design is that it does not include high outriggers but maintains the MCP joints in extension with waistband elastic. It allows for full finger flexion and can accommodate the MCP joints in flexion with an opening. The wrist is maintained in extension, but a simple modification allows for assisted wrist extension with adjustable tension.

Pelvic Organ Prolapse
The term "pelvic organ prolapse" (POP) refers to the dropping (prolapse) of the pelvic organs from their normal position because of the pelvic floor's tissue and muscles failing to support them. The rectum, vagina, cervix, bladder, and urethra are all considered to be pelvic organs. The bladder is the most frequently affected by pelvic organ prolapse.
