The Voice of the Bear

The Ivy Tech Indianapolis student newsletter, The Voice of the Bear, is released on the first Monday of every month. This newsletter informs the nearly 10,000 currently enrolled students about important academic deadlines, upcoming events, campus resources, and city perks.

In The Voice of the Bear, we also announce the Bear of the Month, an award Student Life gives an outstanding student. We share stories of fellow students who are creative and doing remarkable work in our community, alum recognition, monthly motivation, recaps of the previous month’s events that Ivy Indy was a part of – on or off campus – and information about Ivy Tech’s School or Program of the Month.

If you are a student currently enrolled at Ivy Tech Indianapolis and have yet to receive this newsletter but would like to, please email Indianapolis-Marketing@ivytech.edu. If you have any concerns, questions, or thoughts about the newsletter, please email Shakkira Harris, Director of Content Marketing, at sharris222@ivytech.edu

Ivy Indy

Ivy Indy is our biannual magazine. Through this publication, we feature some of the best campus stories of the year, highlight some of our remarkable students and their accomplishments, share some of our donors’ ‘Why I Give’ stories, and spotlight the most significant ways our campus was involved within the City of Indianapolis.

Ivy Indy is mailed to all Ivy Tech Indianapolis donors and stakeholders. Each publication is also disseminated around campus, free for all students, staff, faculty, and community members.

If you want to obtain a copy of previous editions or the next edition of Ivy Indy, please email Indianapolis-Marketing@ivytech.edu. If you have any concerns, questions, or thoughts about the magazine, please email Shakkira Harris, Director of Content Marketing, at sharris222@ivytech.edu

Ivy Indy Community Chronicle

New in 2024, the Ivy Indy Community Chronicle seeks to inform our near northside neighbors and the City of Indianapolis at large about what is happening on the Indianapolis campus of Ivy Tech Community College and how they can get involved.

The Ivy Tech Indianapolis campus hosts numerous events open to the public we wish to publicize more broadly, including job fairs, community celebrations, and tailored occasions for specific groups. We also have several on-campus assets available to our community members, such as our food court, the Learning Resource Center (LRC), the LRC Art Gallery, and our computer labs.

We hope that through the Ivy Indy Community Chronicle, we can share more widely the tremendous stories within the walls of our campus, but most importantly, the remarkable higher education stories that have stemmed from Ivy Tech Indianapolis.

If you would like to be placed on the list of recipients for the Ivy Indy Community Chronicle, please email Indianapolis-Marketing@ivytech.edu.
