The work carried out on the theme of "City at home" (2009-2012):
When we think of the city today, we still think of individuals moving around to access urban amenities. Yet there is an ever-growing number of ways of accessing the different resources the city has to offer (health, information, culture, employment, consumption, etc.). Information and communication technologies play an essential role in these new options.
Home services are changing, taking on new forms. New markets are emerging. What is the function of physical mobility in these new systems? Who are the new actors? How do mobile urban workers organise their lives? What do consumers or users – whether urban, suburban or rural – want? What are the obstacles, constraints and problems involved in building an appropriate economic model?
The work carried out on the theme "Working on the move" (2007):
It is important to take account of the mobilities associated with the instatbility or variability - wether permanent or occasional- of certain jobs.
What are the effects of these mobile activities in terms of business organization, challenges for workers and challenges for the management of public space?
